Paper Craft Crew Challenge #34

Hi Crafty Pals,

You know I am really enjoying playing along in the Paper Craft Crew Challenges and I was so pleased to be a featured artisan for sketch #32.

The sketch they gave us for inspiration this week is

PCC sketch 34

and I came up with

My PCC entry challenge 34

I wanted to make a masculine card that could be used for multiple occasions and add a greeting to later as my ‘just in case’ stock pile was getting low.

So as you can see it’ll be very easy to add a quick greeting to the bottom right of the card. I had to add the extra mat behind the leaves as I stamped them on the Naturals Ivory Card Stock and they blended into the background too much.

Designer Series Paper and Card Stock: Naturals Ivory, Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze and Parker’s Patterns

Stamps: French Foliage

Punches/Die Cuts: Apothecary Accents Framelits and Finishing Touches Edgelits

Classic Stampin’ Pad®: Crumb Cake

Accessories: Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder

I hope you like my card and don’t forget to vote between Wednesday and Friday lunchtime this week.

Have fun getting inky

  1. Melanie, GREAT use of the sketch and love your card. Especially how you used the leaves. Thanks so much for playing along with the Paper Craft Crew. Also, you have been selected as a Featured Artisan for Challenge #34 which has been posted to the challenge blog. Again, Congratulation and don’t forget to grab the badge code for your blog. We look forward to having you play along again in the near future.
