Poppy Hello Card

Hi Crafty Pals,

I spent a fair bit of time over the weekend creating and I am going to share my first card today.

I don’t have a huge amount of current stamps, inks, dies and cardstock as I am just getting back into crafting. I got my recent orders, but I didn’t remember to buy any ribbon or Designer Series Paper so I tried to make a background with what I do have.

I decided to create a card that you could use for many different occasions simply by swapping out the greeting for example Happy Birthday, Thank you or Happy Anniversary could all be used. The colours could be swapped for something you already have in your stash as long as they work together.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The background was stamped using Pool Party ink on Pool Party cardstock so you get a tone on tone effect.

My order arrived

Hi,

I am excited as my orders arrived – one on Monday and my preorder from the upcoming August – December mini catalogue on Friday.

So during the week I did a bit more design work on the blog and am almost finished. I need a couple more elements and then I can really get going with some creating using paper and inks.

A new theme on the blog

Welcome,

As I started blogging again I thought I would try a new theme on my blog. I really like the colours and the format of this one – I had forgotten everything about how to edit the sidebars etc. After some testing of how to do certain things I am quite happy with how it looks now. I still have a few things I need to add such as a new shop button, but I need to design it first.
